Can’t Believe I Just Found This Place! I seriously can’t believe I’m only trying this spot now—I literally live right around the corner! This Japanese restaurant is an absolute gem. The sushi is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Every bite felt like a treat. The rest of the menu is just as good—high-quality ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors all around. The service was amazing—super friendly and attentive without being over the top. The atmosphere is cozy but modern, with a calm, welcoming vibe that made the whole dining experience even better. And the parking? Tons of it. No stress I already can’t wait to come back—and next time, I’m definitely trying their Omakase. If you’re in the area (or even if you’re not), do yourself a favor and check this place out. Total hidden gem!

My partner and I moved to Natomas about a year and a half ago; Chef Frank is our favorite sushi restaurant! We have had miso soup, chu-toro, California roll, spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll, sunset roll, and super star roll. All have been fresh and wonderful. Cool fact- they use real crab in their California roll, unlike most places that use imitation crab (good to know for those with allergies like me) Service has always been great. Sometimes you’ll see Chef Frank behind the counter putting together a dish or refilling your water while asking how everything is tasting. We prefer to sit at the bar (when they’re not doing omakase) and watch the chefs do their magic. I always recommend this place to others!

Chef Frank Japanese Cuisine is a good sushi place that we often go for sushi. The sashimi is fresh, and the quality of the nigiri and rolls is top-notch. You can really taste the care and skill that go into each plate. Their omakase is tasty and reasonable price Customer service is friendly, sometimes not attentive Suggested dishes: Hamachi kama, sashimi, bento box with teriyaki salmon and beef, red bean panna cotta, matcha panna cotta

Wow! What a surprise! We were going to our usual spot in Arden, but I had to drop off my nephew to the airport because his mom wasn't available and this is one of the closest Japanese resto. I'm glad we changed plans as this place is a gem! Not only are their prices reasonable, the food and service are fantastic! The quality of their ingredients is really good, you can taste the freshness! I think we have a new goto sushi place, now that Southpaw has closed!

Super friendly staff with some phenomenal sushi. Was traveling for work, and did not want a chain near airport - and this place was perfect. Sat at the sushi bar, enjoyed a couple rolls, some wine and conversation with the chefs. Definitely worth stopping by when in the area.

I just got off my plane and I was hungry. I kept seeing sushi in my head so I used the old google maps search function for good food in sacramento, near the airport, and ran across franks. I'm from the seattle area, so there's no shortage of fresh seafood and good sushi places with real sushi chefs who know prep and quality. Frank's was amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even offered to watch my food for me while I went to the bathroom. Price was average for sushi but great in context to quality. My only complaint is that this place is far better than the strip mall it's in, so please don't let that deter you.

Great spot for an elevated sushi experience! We sat at the bar and were able to watch the chefs work their magic behind the counter. We ordered the Hokkaido roll, the Sunset roll, Unagi, Wagyu, and yellowtail collar appetizer. Everything was delicious and beautiful prepared. We also had the sapporo on draft and a sake shot! 10/10 recommend.

This might be the best sushi near the grid. I’ve had their sushi in person and delivered and the quality is always top notch!! The delivery box is also a nice touch. You can tell they care about details.
